Manchester CC is on the east side of Hartford off I-384 at the Manchester/Main Street exit then south a mile.

The golf course is a parkland layout with a few holes along the Globe Hollow Reservoir in a scenic setting carved out of old growth, hardwood forest land. The fairway's landing zones are generally ample off the tee, there's numerous slight doglegs, a generous amount of sand bunkers, and generally small, raised greensites. It's a classic New England layout designed by an historic pedigree of architects-Tom Bendelow and Devereux Emmet in the early 1900s with a redesign by A. W. Tillinghast. There's three sets of tees overall with the Blue tees at 6,339 yards, 70.6/128, course/slope ratings.
