The Linville Land Harbor Golf Club is on the south side of Grandfather Mountain off US 221 in a resort, residential community.

The layout is compacted into a tract of forested land over rolling topography on the west side of Land Harbor Lake through fairway corridors flanked by evergreens and mature hardwoods with water features on five holes. While the front side is more straightforward and level, the backside requires course management to navigate the narrow and sloping fairways through a series of doglegs. It's a short, 4,877 yards, par of 69, 65.6/122, course/slope ratings off the back tees with two shorter tees, designed by Tom Jackson and Ernie Hayes.
