Lincoln Oaks Golf Course winds through an established neighborhood in Crete between Main St and the Calumet Expressway.

The golf course is a parkland layout along tree lined fairways with 6-par 3s and 5-par 5s, water in play on only two holes, and a scattering of sand traps mostly defending the modest, raised greens. The course is short at 6,186 yards from the back tees, 69.5/124 course and slope ratings with three shorter tees. It's a classic from the 1920s designed by Tom Bendelow who also designed Medinah and Olympia Fields.
