Lakewood Shores is less than a 1/4 mile from Lake Huron in Oscoda due east of Roscommon with three 18 hole courses, The Gailes, Blackshire, and Serradella.

The Gailes is a links style layout featuring all the elements you'd find in Scotland or Ireland with massive, double greens, burns, sod faced bunkers, tall fescue grass lining the fairways, pot bunkers, and gorse. It plays to 6,954 yards from the back tees, 74.0/138, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Kevin Aldridge.

Blackshire is reminiscent of Pine Valley with sandy waste areas bordering the fairways and massive, undulating greens. It is 6,898 yards from the tips, 72.7/134, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Aldridge as well.

The Serradella is a traditional design along broad, tree lined fairways and is well landscaped with generous green complexes. It plays to 6,806 yards from the back tees, 73.0/126, course/slope. with two shorter tees, designed by Bruce Matthews.
