The Indian Valley Golf Club is 35 miles north of downtown San Francisco, off the 101 Freeway to the west at Novato.

The golf course is a parkland layout traversing the rolling hills of Indian Valley, with wooded fairway corridors and a stretch of holes along Stafford Lake. There's a collection of holes over a large tract of land, providing isolated fairways bordered by stands of oaks and wetlands, with sand bunkers defending the greens. It's 6,374 yards, 70.2/124, course/slope ratings off the back tees with two shorter tees, designed by Robert Nyberg and Kevin Ramsey.
