The Hunter Golf Club is off the Wilbur Cross just north of the I-91/I-691 Interchange on the north side of Meriden.

Hunter is a municipal golf course and a parkland design with fairways defined by old growth, hardwood trees, sand bunkers mostly greenside, and several water hazards which come into play. It's in a scenic setting commanding views of the surrounding trap rock ridges and Castle Craig in Meriden's Hubbard Park. There's four sets of tees from 5,569 yards to 6,604 yards from the tips, 71.6/131, course and slope ratings, originally designed by Robert Pryde in the 1920s with further refinements by Alfred Tull and Al Zikorus.
