Highland Links is in North Truro located on a bluff overlooking the Atlantic with the Cape Cod Lighthouse on its grounds.

The golf course is a 9 hole relic-the oldest golf course on Cape Cod and one of the only true links golf courses in the U.S. It was built in 1892, and while the design has been modified over the years it remains a true treasure if only for the stunning setting rather than the quality of the golf. The links design elements are showcased here with the constant wind, hard and fast fairways, heather and fescue rough, deep sand bunkers, and gorse-like shrubs along with the fairways. There's stunning views throughout the round with the finish a short par 3 across a ravine to a tiered, postage stamp green. The golf course was originally designed by Willard Small with a redesign and addition by J. Henry McKinley.
