Quashnet is in Barnstable off Rt 130 on Great Neck Road to the east of Johns Pond.

The golf course flows over a 330 acre tract of Cape Cod land along cranberry bogs and the Quashnet River. It meanders over rolling, tree-lined fairways with water features on over half the holes and a modest amount of sand traps. There's a good variety of holes cut out of a forest and marshes yielding primarily a shot maker's layout where placement is more useful than distance. It was designed by Geoffrey Cornish and plays to 6,601 yards from the black tees, par 72, 71.1/132, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
