Heritage Oaks is a municipal golf course on the west side of Harrisonburg just off I-81 at exit 245.

The course layout is more open and forgiving on the front, but the back side moves through the trees and generally extracts what was gained on the front. There's multiple water hazards in play with a variety of shapes and sizes of sand bunkers along the landing zones and guarding the greens. The course was designed by Bill Love and plays to 6,324 yards, 69.3/121, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees.
