The Hampton Golf Club is on the north side of Cumming, off US 19 to the east, within a residential community.

The golf course moves across the rolling foothills of North Georgia, with several elevation changes on the front 9, while the back 9 is more open as it winds through streams and wetlands over lower, level terrain. It's a parkland routing, with trees lining the fairways and sand bunkers primarily greenside. There are four sets of tees overall, with the tips playing to 6,903 yards, 72.7/136, course/slope ratings, designed by Clyde Johnson.
