Glynn's Creek is about 8 miles north of the Quad Cities, surrounded by farmland and the forest of the Scott County Park.

The front nine is a tree-lined, parkland-style design, while the backside is more open and links-like. There's some movement to the fairways with uphill approaches, doglegs, and blind shots to the elevated greens on a few holes. Several water hazards are in play, yet minimal sand traps defend some of the ample, contoured, and undulating greens. It plays to 7,036 yards from the tips, 73.3/124, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Dick Watson.
