Fields Ferry is east of Calhoun off I-75 at exit 315 to Hunt's Gin Road then north.

The golf course is within a small residential community but mostly with natural corridors along the holes. It's a challenging layout along fairways defined by stands of mature hardwoods with several large lakes and streams/wetlands in play and sand bunkers both along the fairways and guarding the generous greens. From the back, blue tees it plays to 6,586 yards, 72.0/129, course/slope ratings with three shorter sets of tees down to 5,228 yards for the reds, designed by Arthur Davis.
