Barnsley Gardens is a resort located 78 miles north of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Northwest Georgia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains off Interstate 75 to the west at Adairsville. It's an historic estate with golf as the premier activity, but also has fly fishing with Orvis, lawn games, tennis, billiards, horseback riding, spa, and a magnificent garden.

The layout begins with gentle, wide open, links-style fairways but soon escalates literally as it winds up into heavily forested and hilly terrain for the balance of the round. There's numerous creeks and ponds in play, a generous amount of sand traps, and a host of elevated tees and greens. It's 7,350 yards, 74.5/141, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tee boxes, designed by Jim Fazio.
