Down River is between Breezewood and Bedford off the Pennsylvania Turnpike at US 30 in Everett.

The golf course moves over a level tract of river bottom land along the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River. It moves along fairways dotted with trees and features three ponds and 25 sand traps as hazards with modest, oval greens. There are tees from 5,088 to 6,900 yards; the White tees are 6,519 yards,70.6/124 course/slope ratings, designed by Xenophon G. Hassenplug.
