Deer Run Golf Club is 30 minutes southwest of downtown Minneapolis south of Victoria on the east side of Wassermann Lake.

The golf course is a parkland layout providing a mix of narrow and broad, tree lined fairways with water hazards in some shape or form in play on over half the holes and sand bunkers both along the landing zones and greens. There's three sets of tees from 5,040 yards to 6,338 yards from the tips, 70.6/125, course/slope ratings, designed by Mike Schultz in the late 1990s as part of a residential real estate development.
