Cocoa Beach Country Club is on Cocoa Beach's west side abutting the the Banana River just east of Merritt Island on a rectangular piece of land jutting out into the River. It's a 27 hole municipal golf course operated by the City of Cocoa Beach.

The layout is littered with sand bunkers and numerous water hazards with ponds, lakes, and the Banana River coming into play on most holes where you're almost guaranteed to see an alligator. The River course is the preferred nine as it runs along the Banana River with views of the river and mangrove islands where it's not uncommon to see dolphins and manatees along the banks. The Lakes/River plays to 6,714 yards, 72.1/129, course/slope ratings; the Lakes/Dolphin, 6,393 yards, 70.7/130; and the River/Dolphin, 6,363 yards, 70.6/131, all from the Gold tees, with three shorter sets of tees, designed by Chuck Ankrom.
