The Savannahs is owned and operated by the Brevard County Parks and Recreation Department, and is located on Merritt Island off Hall Road north of the Bennett Causeway.

It's within a residential community with either homes or natural areas bordering the fairways. The course is very challenging with water in play on 13 holes and sand bunkers along the fairways and defending the generous greens. The course was designed by SW Florida golf course architect Gordon Lewis and is 6,422 yards from the tips, 71.2/128, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
