Amherst CC is in Amherst, about 10 miles northwest of Nashua, off Rt 101A.

The course is a parkland-style layout over a natural setting along the Souhegan River through dense, tree-lined fairway corridors. It features numerous doglegs, water in play on almost half of the holes, and sand traps defending the fairways and greens. It was designed by Robert Currier in 1965 and is 6,462 yards, 70.8/124, course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter tees.
