Wolf Hollow is 45 minutes west of Rockford on the north side of Lena surrounded by farmland.

The layout is parkland style design winding along scattered, tree lined fairways over rolling hills with several streams and ponds in play, numerous slight doglegs, and sand bunkers defending the majority of the greens. It was designed by Gordon Cunningham in the late 1990s and plays to 6,408 yards from the tips, 70.9/122, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
