Willinger's is located 30 miles south of Minneapolis just off I-35 built on rolling, southern Minnesota farmland without homes or development along the holes.

The layout meanders through natural wetlands framed by tree lined fairways and the occasional water hazard with large, sculptured, and strategically placed sand bunkers along the fairways and guarding the greens. It measures 6,809 yards from the back tees, 74.4/150, course/slope ratings and four shorter tees, designed by Garrett Gill.
