Wickenburg Ranch is on the north side of Wickenburg at the US 93/Rt89 split, 1 1/2 hours north of downtown Phoenix, within a residential development project.

The routing offers an interesting layout along isolated, unique fairways that come alive with substantial topographic changes. There's a collection of six par-3s, five par-5s, and seven par-4s as it traverses the canyons and arroyos of the natural landforms along the Prescott National Forest. It's most entertaining, with an array of blind shots and a generous number of sand traps along the fairways, guarding the sides of the sloped, contoured greens. The layout plays from 4,912 yards at the forward tees to 7,059 yards from the championship tees, 72.4/139, course/slope ratings, designed in 2008 by Bill Brownlee and Wendell Pickett. Be sure to make time for Lil Wick, an entertaining and laid-back par 3 course as well.
