Waverly Woods is west of Baltimore off I-40 at exit 83 on the north side of the Interstate.

The golf course is partially bordering a residential community with a mix of narrow and broad, tree lined fairways bordered by natural areas and tall fescue over undulating topography. There's a generous amount of sand bunkers both along the fairways and defending the greens with several water features in play as well. It's a challenging, shot maker's layout which can play as long as 7,024 yards from the back tees, 74.0/135, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Arthur Hills.
