Waterchase is between Dallas and Ft Worth off I-30 at Eastchase Parkway.

The design mixes parkland and links-style holes with five par-3s and five par-5s. The routing is over a natural tract of land with water as the dominant feature, as it borders the south side of the Trinity River, with Village Creek traversing the layout from east to west, in addition to multiple ponds. There's a mix of wide-open and tree-lined fairways with doglegs, split fairways, and an impressive array of sand traps defending the fairways and greens of varying shapes and sizes. There are six tee boxes ranging from 4,775 to 7,159 yards; the middle tees are 5,868 yards, 68.2/123, course/slope ratings, designed by Steven Plummer in 2000.
