Wapicada is 5 miles east of St. Cloud in Sauk Rapids.

The layout is along generally level fairways defined by trees with a mix of open and narrow driving lanes. There are numerous ponds in play as well as Mayhew Creek cutting across five fairways and 30 or so sand bunkers. There are tees from 5,232 to 6,709 yards; the White tees are 6,269 yards, 71.0/133, course/slope ratings, designed by Bud Herzog.
