Verdict Ridge is northwest of Charlotte and west of Lake Norman off Rt 16 within a residential development.

The layout is over rolling hills through tree-lined and boulder-strewn fairways and ravines. Water hazards include Killian Creek, ponds, and wetlands, as well as a modest amount of sand bunkers along the fairways and securing the greens. From the back tees, it's 6,773 yards, 74.1/139, course/slope ratings, designed by Ed Schweitzer with three shorter tee boxes.
