The Vardon Golf Club is the reimagined Minot Country Club, which was destroyed by the 2011 flood. It was renamed to reflect the original architect, Tom Vardon (brother of legendary Harry Vardon-The Grip!)
It is located on the east side of the Souris River, northwest of Minot, on level land. It's a classic parkland design along tree-lined fairways, generally straightforward, but with several slight doglegs. There are several water features in play, but fewer than 20 sand traps mostly defending the modest, oval greens. It can play to 6,620 yards from the back tees, 72.4/125, course/slope ratings, with three shorter tees.
