Twin Lakes is a 27 hole layout located north of Rochester Hills in Oakland Charter Township on Rochester Road.

The golf course is within a residential development with homes lining a handful of holes on the Estates and Links nines. The terrain is slightly rolling along broad fairways bordered by tall heathers. There's multiple water hazards and wetlands to negotiate in addition to an abundance and variety of sand bunkers throughout. The green complexes are well bunkered and the greens range from large to massive with some are over 40 yards deep. Depending on the combination of nines (Estates, Links, Woods), the course tips out at 6,609 yards (Links/Woods - 71.8/132, course/slope ratings), 6,639 yards (Estates/Links - 71.5/122) or 6,858 yards (Estates/Woods - 72.9/133) with four alternative tees, designed by Jerry Matthews.
