Tullymore GC is part of the Tullymore Golf Resort 50 miles north of Grand Rapids and 50 miles west of Midland. It's the second public course in the huge development, the other St. Ives is 5 miles away.

The course winds itself over a large tract of wooded wetlands with complete isolation for each hole. The design features densely wooded fairways over gently rolling land, slight to moderate mounding, multiple water hazards, and ample sand bunkering. The course has a slope of 150, one of the highest in Michigan and a 76.4 course rating from the 7,250 yards at the back tees with four shorter tees. This was Jim Engh's first stab at a golf course in Michigan with 800 acres of land to work with!
