Treasure Hills is on the east side of Harlingen, south of the Arroyo Colorado.

The course is partially within a residential community, with 1/3 of the fairways bordered by homesites. The balance is through natural areas along scattered tree-lined fairways with sandy waste areas at the borders and multiple water hazards. There are five tees from 5,395 to 6,859 yards off the tips; the White tees play to 6,348 yards, 71.2/128, course/slope ratings, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.
