TPC San Antonio is affiliated with the JW Marriott on the north side of San Antonio off US 281. It has two 18-hole layouts available only to resort guests.

The Canyons course, a Pete Dye design, has more elevation change and better views than the Oaks course as it flows along broad oak and cedar-lined fairways adjoining Cibolo Canyon. The Oaks Course, a Greg Norman design, is the venue for the Valero Texas Open and a parkland-style layout with the typical TPC features for stadium-type seating along the mounded fairways. The layout provides for rolling, sloping, broad, and narrow fairway corridors lined by tall fescue and rugged-edge sand bunkers. There are numerous risk/reward options, and overall, it's a much more strategic layout than the Dye course.

The Oaks course measures 7,435 yards and plays to a par of 72, 76.5/148, course/slope ratings, the Canyons 7,106 yards from the tips, 74.1/136, both with four shorter tees.
