The TPC Tampa Bay is 30 minutes north of downtown Tampa off the Suncoast Parkway in Lutz at exit 14.

The course is within an upscale, residential community with half the holes bordered by houses the balance by undeveloped marshland land. It's the typical stadium layout featuring mounding and banks for spectator viewing and more of a target design with traditional sand bunkers and extended waste areas, water in play on a majority of the holes, and collection areas around the greens. From the tips it plays to 6,898 yards, 74.2/140, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Bobby Weed and Chi Chi Rodriguez in 1991.
