Tippecanoe CC is 5 miles north of Monticello on the west side of Lake Shafer.

The course meanders through an established residential community with homes set along the exterior holes. It's a parkland style design winding along tree lined fairways over level terrain. There's sand bunkers mostly greenside and ponds and wetlands on a few holes including several holes along the Lake. From the tips it's 6,784 yards, 71.4/124, course/slope ratings with three shorter tee boxes. The course was founded in the 1920s and was designed by Joe Roseman, but in the early 1960s Hoosier Pete Dye redesigned the layout.
