The Timberlake CC is on the east side of Clinton, about 5 minutes off I-40 at exit 364/Hwy 24 to the west.

The course is partially through a community with most holes bordered by natural corridors. It's an interesting and diverse layout with parkland features and links elements that provide several risk/reward opportunities and an elevation change, adding character. The fescue-lined fairways are mounded and contoured with an abundance of waste and pot bunkers scattered throughout. It was designed by Michael Gleason and is 6,511 yards from the tips; the White tees are 6,012 yards, 68.0/121, course/slope ratings.
