Timber Ridge is located in far northern Wisconsin south of Minocqua off US 51 to the west.

The golf course's layout winds along broad, wooded fairways with a generous amount of sand bunkers defending the fairways and greens and several water features. It's a classic Northwoods layout over rolling topography with slight and dramatic doglegs. It plays to an overall yardage of 6,867 yards from the back tees, 73.3/131, course/slope ratings with five shorter tees, designed by Roger Packard.
