Thumper Pond Golf Course is located between Otter Tail Lake and Buchanan Lake about an hour south of Detroit Lakes on Rt 78.

The golf course is a straightforward parkland style of course design with long and wide corridors of tree lined fairways over a slight change in elevation with several water hazards in play. It was designed by Eric Niskanen and from the back tees plays to 6,610 yards, 72.3/130, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
