The Pennhills Club

The Pennhills Club is a few miles south of Bradford set in Minard Run Valley surrounded by the Allegheny National Forest. While the golf club is private, it does offer stay and play packages with several local hotels in Bradford.

The layout is a parkland design over slightly rolling hills in a most scenic setting with a grand, old stone clubhouse. The fairways are defined by mature hardwood trees with the Minyard Run stream, and a liberal amount of sand bunkers positioned only around the greens as the primary hazards. The golf course was originally designed by Walter Travis in 1922 with additional holes added by Dick Wilson in 1958. From the tips it plays to 6,451 yards, 72.1/135, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
