The Mook is 5 miles north of Tillamook, just off the US 101.

The golf course has existed in some form for over 100 years. The layout features Sitka spruce, western red cedar, and Douglas fir-lined fairways that are generally level until the 15th and 16th, where one is rewarded with panoramic views of the Tillamook Valley. Vaughn Creek bisects the course from north to south and is potentially in play on 4-5 holes, and 25 sand traps are positioned at the landing zones and guarding the greens.
