The Lynx at River Bend is located east of Port Jervis, east of the Delaware River.

The golf course traverses the lowlands of the Neversink River and is challenging, with narrow, tree-lined fairways, numerous doglegs, ponds, and wetlands in play on most holes, and a generous number of sand traps. There's a mix of long and short holes, with numerous risk/reward opportunities, and overall, it's a shotmaker's dream layout. It's somewhat short at only 6,126 yards from the tips, with 70.4/127 course/slope ratings, and two shorter tees. The golf course is a classic A.W. Tillinghast design, with at least 10 holes by Tilly in the early 1900s remaining.
