Hiawatha Landing is located just west of Binghamton in the Finger Lakes/Catskills region of New York on the banks of the Susquehanna River.

The golf course is a links style layout over undulating terrain with occasional stands of trees at the borders and the exterior holes bounded by dense forest. The broad fairways are lined by tall fescue rough with natural waste areas, wetlands and water hazards, and an abundance of shapes and sizes of sand bunkers defending the fairways and greens. The course can play to 7,159 yards from the back tees, 74.3/133, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Brian Silva and Mark Mungeam.
