The Ledges is 15 minutes north of Portsmouth and 30 minutes south of Portland off I-95 at Cider Hill.

The course journeys over hilly and forested, terrain along unique and isolated fairways in a scenic setting. There's a blend of narrow and broad, tree lined fairways along numerous rock outcroppings with ponds and lakes on multiple holes and sand traps at the landing zones and the sides of the greens. From the black tees, 6,981 yards (73.9/138) course/slope ratings with 4 shorter tees, designed by Brad Booth in 1999.
