The Farms is on the northwest side of Dyersburg just off the I-155 exit at Lake Road to the south.

The golf course is partially within a residential development with homes lining many of the holes and is a combination of open, links style design along with several holes carved through the woods. In terms of hazards, lakes and ponds border half the holes in addition to a modest amount of sand bunkers primarily positioned around the greens. The course was designed by Kevin Tucker in 1996 with 5 sets of tees from 4,970 yards to 6,709 yards where the course/slope ratings are 71.4/126.
