The Courses of Clear Creek are on the Fort Hood Armored Corps Installation with the Armadillo Hills, Deer Run, and Panther Claw nines and are open to public play with an advance pass arranged by the visitor center on the base.

The courses navigate a combination of hilly and level topography along broad and narrow, fairways dotted by live oaks or bordered by dense underbrush. Clear Creek and its associated ponds bisect the entire course from north to south and are in play on 1/3 of the holes and sand traps are sparingly distributed around the greens and the occasional landing zone off the tee. The yardages, course/slope ratings for the various rotations off the back tees with three shorter tees: Armadillo Hills/Deer Run-6,884 yards, 72.8/122, course/slope ratings; Deer Run/Panther Claw-6,874 yards, 72.7/121; Panther Claw/Armadillo Hills-6,794 yards, 70.3/120.
