Thanksgiving Point is located at the south end of Salt Lake City, off I-15 at exit 284 in Lehi, below the Wasatch Range.

The layout is a wide-open, links-style design along the Jordan River, with the wind a constant factor. The river and several ponds/wetlands are in play multiple times, in addition to numerous doglegs, and an abundance and variety of sand bunkers and waste areas defend the landing zones and elevated greens. Johnny Miller designed it, which measures 7,716 yards from the tips and has 76.2/140 course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
