Swope is southeast of Kansas City, off I-435 at Gregory, to the west, and is located within Swope Park.

Is it a historic A.W. Tillinghast’s 1935 design that was renovated to near-original design elements in 2026 by Todd Clark, Brent Hugo, and Ron Whitten. The result is a complete makeover of the greens, bunkers, tees, cart paths, drainage, irrigation, and included tree removal, and a new irrigation lake. The course features the dolomites (natural grass mounds) and overall is along tree-lined fairways over rolling terrain through all natural corridors with the K.C. skyline visible from certain points and the occasional lion's growl from the adjacent zoo. There are multiple tees from 4,385 to 6,324 at the green tees.
