Swainsboro Golf Club is halfway between Macon and Savannah, off I-16 on US 1 to the north, about 20 minutes.
The slightly rolling fairways are lined with pine trees, several ponds/wetlands, and a moderate amount of sand bunkers, mostly defending the modest greens. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,563 yards, with 71.4/129, course/slope ratings, and three shorter tees, designed by Arthur David in the mid-1940s.
