Sunken Meadow State Park is about 15 minutes north of Hauppauge on Smithtown Bay and has 27 holes.

The layouts are all similar in style as they're along level tree-lined fairways with gentle doglegs, a tolerable amount of sand bunkers, and ample, slightly undulating greens. The layout was designed by Alfred Tull in the mid-1960s with the following yardages, course/slope ratings from the back tees with two shorter tees: Blue/Green-6,254 yards, 69.0/115, course/slope ratings; Red/Blue-6,138 yards, 68.2/116; Red/Green-6,397 yards, 68.8/113.
