Summer Grove is about 30 minutes south of the Atlanta Airport in Newnan, just off I-85 at exit 47 on the east side.

The golf course winds through an upscale residential development, with homes for the most part shielded by trees, and is recognized as an Audubon International Signature Sanctuary. It's generally open off the tee along broad fairways bordered by pine trees, dogwoods, or hardwoods and dotted with creeks, lakes, and wetlands. It can play to 6,954 yards from the tips, 73.4/132, course/slope ratings with five shorter tees, designed by Joe Jemsek.
