Sugar Bush is southeast of Cleveland, just north of the Turnpike on Rt. 88 on the north side of Garrettsville in a natural setting surrounded by forests.
The course is a traditional layout winding along tree-lined fairways over rolling terrain. It has a modest number of sand traps, in addition to a couple of lakes and Camp Creek bisecting the course from north to south. It's a mostly straightforward design and very playable at 6,571 yards, 71.9/120 course/slope ratings from the tips, and three shorter tees. It was designed in the 1960s by Harold Paddock.
