Stevens Point CC is off I-39 at the Main Street exit in Stevens Point on the southwest quadrant of the intersection.

The golf course is set on a natural tract of lowland on the east side of the Wisconsin River's wetlands although water hazards affect play on less than 1/3 of the holes. It's a parkland design over generally level topography with a host of conventional and massive waste area sand bunkers yet with generous green complexes. There's five sets of tees from 4,884 yards to 6,916 yards off the tips, the middle White tees are 6,167 yards, 71.4/129, course/slope ratings, a 9 hole layout until the mid-1960s, the initial 18 holes were designed by Lawrence Packard, redesigned by Craig Haltom.
