Starr Pass is located in northwest Tucson in the Sonoran Desert at exit 259 off I-10 then west on Starr Pass Blvd in a resort/residential development along with a JW Marriott.

There's 27 holes, the Coyote, Rattler, and Roadrunner moving through the desert with cacti of all shapes and sizes bordering the fairways as it crosses ravines and arroyos. All of the courses have similar routings through the desert waste areas over a change in elevation with forced carries, multiple conventional and waste sand bunkers, and numerous risk/reward opportunities.
